Every once in a while you meet people who truly inspire you.
When I was commissioned to photograph this beautiful woman as she celebrates her 70th birthday, I planned and researched for days but when the day came, what unfolded was way more beautiful than what I had anticipated.
I got to witness a woman so comfortable in her own skin, so confident the journey that our time together was just so beautifully natural and organic.
Overcoming trauma, loosing a spouse, being whole and present for her children and grandchildren, finding her own path and learning to celebrate that is truly a gift that can’t be explained.
I am just overwhelmed with gratefulness for all the women like Janet, who have and continue to trust me to capture a glimpse of how monumentally divine they are.
